Heads Up

The NAST Board has added two outstanding new members, Stan Newberry and Steve Sandford.

NAST is now closely affiliated with Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance (HRMFFA) and Craig Quigley, their Executive Director serves on the NAST Board. Bruce Hoogstraten, NAST Executive Director is serving on their Board.

The HRMFA affiliation brings a new organization, The Roosevelt Group to help advocate our NAST positions in Washington, D.C.

Major focus areas for NAST in 2016 are continuing advocacy of the Langley Research Center ViTAL program to recapitalize the center and the establishment of a new public-private partnership to develop advanced manufacturing techniques for aerospace composite materials.

NAST continues to advocate maintaining the NASA aeronautics research and other programs.

NAST - NASA Aerospace Support Team

NAST is a non-profit organization, originally created by our local communities, and comprised of community leaders, business leaders and former NASA officials in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, dedicated to restoring the proper emphasis and focus at the national level on the need for a balanced program of science, aeronautics, and human space exploration within NASA.
